Richard W. McMinn III, CPA, PFS Principal   Richard is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist and an Investment Advisor Representative. He has been providing accounting, tax and financial planning services for over fifteen years. Some of his areas of expertise are general business consulting, strategic planning, corporate and individual tax planning and personal financial planning. He received a B.A. degree in Business and Economics from Virginia Military Institute and a Masters of Accountancy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Richard lives in Powhatan with his wife and two children and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Patrice D. Bereznak, CPA Accounting Manager   Pat joined the firm in 2006. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. She has over thirty years of public and corporate accounting experience in a variety of industries. Pat specializes in accounting software training and support and accounting and payroll services. She received a B.S. degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Powhatan with her husband and and enjoys visiting her two children at VT and ODU, exercising at the local YMCA, and volunteering at her church and in the community.
Elizabeth A. Amiss, CPA Tax and Accounting Department   Elizabeth joined the firm in January 2009 and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has over 15 years of corporate accounting experience. Elizabeth specializes in individual tax preparation and planning and accounting services. She received a B.S. degree in Business, majoring in Accounting, from Virginia Tech. She is currently the PTO President for Pocahontas Elementary School in Powhatan. Elizabeth lives in Powhatan with her husband and two children and enjoys playing soccer and watching her kids play sports.
Barbara K. Smith Administrative Manager   Barbara joined the firm in January 2008. She has extensive experience in customer service in the insurance industry and she came to us after many years at the Powhatan Library. She specializes in communicating with clients and assists with tax and accounting projects. Barbara lives in Powhatan with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family and two grandchildren.
